Umehara Yuichiro, Ishikawa Kaito, Takeuchi Shunsuke, and Saito Souma have been announced as new cast members to play Sekido, Karaku, Urogi, and Aizetsu, the demons that split off from Hantengu in “TV anime ‘Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Swordsmith Village Arc’”. Comments were also received from those people.
In addition, an artist music video for the ending theme “Koikogare” by milet x MAN WITH A MISSION has been released, and information on the release of the 2nd volume of the Blu-ray DVD of “Swordsmith Village Arc” has arrived.
The anime “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba” began in April 2019 with the broadcast of the “TV anime ‘Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Kamado Tanjiro Risshi Arc’” followed in October 2020 by the release of the “Demon Blade: Kimetsu no Yaiba Mugen Train Arc,” and from 2021 to 2022 the “TV anime ‘Demon Slayer: kimetsu no Yaiba Mugen Train Arc’” and “TV anime ‘Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Ruin” Entertainment District Arc’” were broadcast and distributed.
In addition, as a new challenge for the anime “Demon Slayer” leading from the “Entertainment District Arc” to the “Swordsmith Village Arc,” “World Tour Screening of ‘Demon Slayer: to the Swordsmith Village Arc,” will be released. Starting in April 2023, the “TV anime ‘Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Swordsmith Village Arc,’” which depicts a new story of Tanjiro and his friends, is being broadcast nationwide on Fuji Television Network. In the third episode, a battle broke out between Tanjiro, Tokito Muichiro, and others against a half-tengu, Gyokko, who suddenly appeared in the Swordsmith’s Village. The fourth episode will be broadcast on April 30.
The four new cast members of the demons, who split from Hantengu, have been revealed from this production. Umehara Yuichiro will play the role of Sekigen, Ishikawa Kaito will play the role of Karaku, Takeuchi Shunsuke will play the role of Urogi, and Saito Souma will play the role of Aizetsu. The battle they will wage against Tanjiro and his men in the village of swordsmiths is sure to be one to watch.
In addition, Volume 2 will be released on July 26, following the release of the 1st volume of “Swordsmith’s Village” Blu-ray & DVD, which is scheduled for June 21. The 2nd Volume will come with luxurious extras such as a jacket illustration newly drawn by ufotable and the stage greeting held in Los Angeles in February 2023. Fans will not want to miss out.
