Kamiya Hiroshi, Namikawa Daisuke, and Maeda Gou will dub the entertainment movie from China called “Detective Chinatown 3: Tokyo MISSION”, which will arrive in Japan from July 9, 2021. Each actor will play the world-class detective, and their comments have arrived.
“Detective Chinatown 3: Tokyo MISSION” is the Chinese entertainment movie, in which the Chinese detective tag Tan Ren (Wang Baoiqiang) and Qin Feng (Liu Haoran) try to solve the mystery in Japan together with Japanese detectibve Noda Hiroshi (Tsumabuki Satoshi) and Thailand detective and former investigator, Jack Jaa (Tony Jaa). It is also unique in the way that interesting characters are played by the Japanese casts, including Miura Tomokazu, Nagasawa Masami, Asano Tadanobu, Soumetani Shouta, and Suzuki Honami.
As the actors for the dubbed version, Maerda Gou, Kamiya Hiroshi and Namikawa Daisuke have been offered to participate in the movie. Maeda will play the optimistic protagonist and Chinese detective Tan Ren, Kamiya will play Ren’s nephewuncle and calm, cleaeheaded detective Qin Feng, and Namikawa will play the strict detective from Thailand called Jack Jaa.
In the process of the production, the Japanese casts, including Tsumabuki, Nagasawa, Sometani, Asano, and Miura, rerecorded a few of their lines. In the sneak peek of the Japanese dubbed version, the conversation between the characters seemed to be comical, including the scene where Tan Ren tries to eliminate any record to hide 1 billion yen and Qin Feng, who tries to solve the mystery.
The Japanese dubbed version of “Detective Chinatown: Tokyo MISSION” with Kamiya Hiroshi, Namikawa Daisuke, and Maeda Gou will be released on July 9.
