Voice actors Eguchi Takuya and Hayami Saori will participate in the “73rd NHK Kouhaku Uta Gassen” (broadcast on December 31, 2022, at 7:20 PM on NHK and other stations) as VTR narrators.
The theme of the 73rd “NHK Kohaku Uta Gassen” is “LOVE & PEACE – Share with Everyone!” as the producers “wanted people to feel the “preciousness of peace” and “love filled with hope” through songs at the end of the year 2022” and “wanted to make New Year’s Eve a once-a-year ‘Hare no Hi (sacred and celebrative day)’ by delivering a best live entertainment like a festival with songs that everyone can enjoy.”
The program will be broadcast on NHK Sougou, BS4K, BS8K, and Radio 1 at 7:20 PM on New Year’s Eve with Oizumi Yo and Hashimoto Kanna as hosts, Sakurai Sho as special navigator, and Kuwako Maho as announcer.
This time, the official Twitter account of “NHK Kouhaku Uta Gassen” announced that voice actors Eguchi Takuya and Hayami Saori are the VTR narrators.
Fans are excited to see not only the songs and performances of the artists but also the narrations of the video playing during the program, as their “voices appear in various VTRs throughout the entire Kouhaku program!”
Also participating in this year’s “NHK Kouhaku Uta Gassen” are Uta (CV: Nazuka Kaori/ Sung by Ado,) that sings the theme song “Shinjidai” for “ONE PIECE FILM RED” as a Kouhaku singer of an anime character for the first time in history; Aimer, who sings “Zankyo Sanka,” the opening theme for “Demon Slayer Entertainment District Arc;” Hoshino Gen singing “Kigeki”, the ending theme of the first season of “SPY×FAMILY,” and Hikawa Kiyoshi singing “Genkai Toppa × Survivor,” the opening theme for “Dragon Ball Super.” Moveover, there will be a special program titled “Disney Special Medley” performed by Disney characters. This will surely be a Kouhaku that anime fans cannot miss.
