It has been announced that the final season’s conclusion of the TV anime “Attack on Titan” will be aired in two parts. The first part will start on March 4, 2023, on NHK at 12:25 a.m. The latest promotional video was also released with the announcement.

The original work of “Attack on Titan” is a dark fantasy serialized by Isayama Hajime in “Bessatsu Shonen Magazine” from 2009 to 2021. The manga series, consisting of 34 volumes, has sold over 110 million copies worldwide, becoming a social phenomenon in Japan and abroad. In addition to the TV anime series, the series has been adapted into various cross-media contents, and still boasts immense popularity after the end of serialization.

NHK announced that Attack on Titan The Final Season: Conclusion will be aired in two parts, and the first part starts with a special broadcast on March 4 at 12:25 a.m.

In Part 2, countless titans were freed by Eren’s “Rumbling.” As the titans trample down everything on the land, Mikasa, Armin, Jean, Conny, Hanji, Reiner, Annie, Pieck, and the mortally wounded Levi, fight a final battle to stop Eren.

The second part is scheduled to air by the end of 2023. More information is to be announced as soon as the details are finalized.
A seven-part compilation anime will also be aired prior to the broadcast from February 25 to February 27 on NHK.

A promotional video was also released to commemorate the broadcast of the Conclusion Arc. The video shows a smiling Eren saying, “This is freedom,” and the contrasting images of the Rumbling expressing disquiet and despair.

In addition, the free video distribution service “GYAO!” started sequential distribution of the past series on January 17 to commemorate the Conclusion Arc.

The first part of “Attack on Titan The Final Season: Conclusion” will start airing on March 4, 2023 at 12:25 a.m. with a special broadcast. Be sure not to miss it.
