Video streaming media “dTV” has started exclusive streaming of the recitation performance, “STORY LIVE.” Started by Kodansha in 2020, the event allows fans to enjoy the collaboration between the amazing gathering of voice actors and the popular novelists. There are six performances in total, each featuring Ayane Sakura, Sumire Uesaka, Daiki Yamashita, Takuya Eguchi, Sayaka Ohara, and Sora Tokui as a performer.

“STORY LIVE” is a live-streaming in which a voice actor recites a short story or an original story written by a popular novelist. Each performance features one voice actor, and they invite viewers to a new world by telling stories such as a horror novel, a mystery novel, or a love story. The stage offers the viewers a one-and-only experience as one actor tells the whole story based on their understanding.

Wearing a kimono, Ayane Sakura recites “Hinangoya no Taiken (In the Shelter)”, an original horror story written by Shinzo Mitsuya. Mitsuya was awarded the 10th Honkaku Mystery Grand Prize with “Mizuchi no Gotoki Shizumu Mono (Sinks as Mizuchi).” Viewers can enjoy the thrilling horror story written by a novelist famous for writing prominent mystery novels.

Sumire Uesaka recites “Takamura no Ie (Takamura’s House),” a short story written by Kannon Hanabusa, a novelist who portrays sensual women in her stories. The performance invites the audience to a scary world for adults.

Daiki Yamashita recites “Imoto no Heya (My Sister’s Room).” This story is a short novel written by Manabu Kamiyama, a novelist famous for the “Shinrei Tantei Yakumo (Physic Detective Yakumo)” series and “Kaito Yamaneko (The Phantom Thief Yamaneko),” which was both TV dramatized. Yamashita will use his voice to express the horror story which Kaminaga wrote for a feature article titled “Cho Kowai Bukken (Super Horrific Properties)” of the magazine “Shosetsu Gendai.”

Takuya Eguchi recites “MASTERMIND” written by Kaoru Yukinari, a novelist famous for the “Na mo Naki Sekai no End Roll (The Master Plan)” which was made into a movie. This original story will capture the minds of the audiences with a lot of gimmicks that lead to an unusual ending.

Sayaka Ohara also wears a Kimono and recites “Imina ni Matsuwaru Hanashi (A Story about the Posthumous Name).” This story is also written by Shinzo Mitsuya, allowing the audience to immerse themselves into the deep worldview of a horror story.
