“Prime Video,” a streaming service offering unlimited access to more than 10,000 popular movies and TV programs, has announced its new releases for April 2023. The lineup includes the past “Detective Conan” series, such as “Detective Conan the Movie: Countdown to Heaven” in the “Animation Films (Japan)” section and “TV Anime ‘Demon Slayer’ Swordsmith Arc” in the “TV Animation (Domestic)” section.

In the “Animation Films (Japan)” section, “Detective Conan the Movie: Countdown to Heaven” and other past “Detective Conan” film series will be available for unlimited viewing starting April 1. This distribution commemorates the April 14 release of “Detective Conan: Black Iron Submarine,” which tells the story of Conan and Haibara as a dark shadow creeps toward them over a certain “new technology.”

Moreover, the unlimited viewing of “TV Anime ‘Demon Slayer’ Swordsmith Arc” will start on April 10 in the “TV Animation (Domestic)” section. This is the latest TV series based on the comic by Gotouge Koyoharu, which has sold more than 150 million copies in its 23 volumes published by Shueisha’s “Jump Comics.” This time, Kamado Tanjirou, the main character, heads for the “swordsmith village.” While he reunites with “Mist Pillar” Tokitou Muichirou and “Love Pillar” Kanroji Mitsuri, two of the strongest members of the demon slayer corps, new demons also creep into the village. This series will be the new part where Tanjirou and the others begin a new battle.

Other spring anime titles in the “TV Animation (Domestic)” section include “Jigokuraku,” a ninjutsu (Japanese martial art) drama set in the late Edo period, “The Dangers in My Heart,” a coming-of-age rom-com about a shy and timid boy a beautiful and cheerful girl, “Dr. Stone 3rd Season,” a story of a high school student who uses science to confront a stone world where civilization has died, and “Ranking of Kings: The Treasure Chest of Courage,” an adventure fantasy that depicts a special episode not mentioned in the previous TV series. Enjoy the anime and movies that will be added to “Prime Video” from April.
