“MASOCHISTIC ONO BAND” (also known as MOB), an air band, which originated in “Dear Girl -Stories- by Kamiya Hiroshi & Ono Daisuke” (also known as DGS), a radio program of Nippon Cultural Broadcasting, will be in charge of the new theme song of the TV anime “Bonobono”.

“Bonobono” is based on a comic by Igarashi Mikio, which started to be serialized in 1986, and has a circulation of over 9 million. It depicts Bonobono, a little sea otter, who is interested in odd and mysterious things, and other laid-back and cute characters. They make us relax to feel and see the meaning of life.

“MASOCHISTIC ONO BAND”, which will be in charge of the new theme song, is an air band originated in “Dear Girl -Stories- by Kamiya Hiroshi & Ono Daisuke”, and consists of 6 members. The members include ONO-D(Vo), HIRO-C(Vo), 3M(Gt), DO-S(Ba), YAGI84(Key), and CHANKO(Dr). The leader is ONO-D.

For this new theme song, the band name will be changed from “MASOCHISTIC ONO BAND” to “MASOCHISTIC BONO BAND”. The new theme song will start to be used from the new year 2021.
