The anime “SPRIGGAN,” currently distributed on Netflix, will be broadcast for the first time on TV, on TOKYO MX and Metele (Nagoya TV) in July 2023. A visual commemorating the TV broadcast has been released.

“SPRIGGAN” is an adventure action manga written by Takashige Hiroshi and illustrated by Minagawa Ryoji, which was serialized in “Weekly Shonen Sunday” from 1989 to 1996. The story follows the adventure of a young boy, Ominae Yu, who works for “ARCAM,” a corporation established to protect the legacy of the ancient civilization, as a special agent called SPRIGGAN.

30 years after the serialization, the newly produced anime by david production was released on Netflix in June 2022. It has been ranked in Netflix’s “Today’s Top 10 Series” and “Netflix Weekly Global Top 10,” becoming a popular anime attracting attention worldwide.

After a year since its distribution on Netflix, this anime will be broadcast on TOKYO MX and Metele (Nagoya TV) starting in July. The slogan attached to the visual commemorating the TV broadcast is “Fight for the future of mankind.” The visual features the main character, Ominae Yu (CV. Kobayashi Chiaki,) with action-packed scenes from the story interspersed in the background.

The TV anime “SPRIGGAN” will be aired on TOKYO MX and Metele (Nagoya TV) in July. Fans are excited to see the action scenes and romance of the ancient world, using 2D drawings and 3D CG.
