“Disneykko Radio Week Powered by Cho Seiyu Sai”, a special program to commemorate the launch of new Disney+, will feature gorgeous voice actors, including Inoue Kazuhiko, Enoki Junya, Kaji Yuuki, Koyama Rikiya, Toda Keiko, Hosoya Yoshimasa, Machico, and Morikawa Toshiyuki. This program will be streamed on the live-streaming platform “Niconico Live” for 7 days from October 24 to 30, 2021.
“Disney+”, a subscription-based video distribution service, rollouts their new contents brand “Star” on October 27 to expand the service.
“Disneykko Radio Week Powered by Cho Seiyu Sai” has been produced to commemorate the launch of the new service and will begin with an opening program on October 24. It will distribute programs dedicated to Star Wars, Disney & Pixar, Marvel, and the new brand Star until October 30.
It has been announced that the gorgeous voice actors, who are in charge of dubbing the characters in the related works, and guests, who are big fans of the related brand and works, will be featured in such a special program for 7 consecutive nights.
MC will be handled by Midorikawa Hikaru and Suwabe Junichi, and the appearing voice actors include Inoue Kazuhiko, Enoki Junya, Kaji Yuuki, Koyama Rikiya, Toda Keiko, Hosoya Yoshimasa, Machico, and Morikawa Toshiyuki. The gorgeous voice actors, who are in charge of dubbing the characters in the works produced by Disney & Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, and Star will be gathered together. Moreover, Miyata Toshiya of Kis-My-Ft2, Ito Karin, and other guests will also join them, totaling 41 cast members to liven up the special program.
On the program, the voice actors introduce the charms and notable points of each work and brand regardless of if they have actually played any character in the work or not. They will also reveal the episodes behind the recording and their struggles, and try quiz battles to achieve luxurious prizes.
On the night of October 27, on which new Disney+ will launch, the commemorative event “New Disney+ Celebration Night” will be live-reported. After the event, Nagatsuka Takuma will offer an after-talk as a reporter.
Along with the distribution of the special program, various campaign events will be available. For a limited period from October 22, “Disneykko Radio”, which was broadcast in April 2021 and grew in popularity, will be re-streamed.
