The new chapter of the original manga “SHAMAN KING THE SUPER STAR” by Takei Hiroyuki is currently being serialized in “Shonen Magazine Edge”.
Morita Masakazu plays Mosuke, a blacksmith who used to be a great friend of Amidamaru’s, and the one who struck Amidamaru’s favorite sword, Harusame, 600 years ago. Morita commented, “Whether you’ve been a fan for a long time or this is your first time, I’m sure you’ll all enjoy this work!”

Comments from Morita Masakazu who plays Mosuke
–Could you tell us about the appeal of this work?
I am of the generation that started reading “SHAMAN KING” when it was first serialized.
The word “shaman” itself was something that appeared only briefly in the Japanese or world history, but it was an existence that somehow gave me a sense of ancient romance.
This fascinating existence appears in the present day, which meant exciting enough for me.
–Could you tell us about your enthusiasm for playing as Mosuke?
This work is being produced as a completely new anime. I’m honored that I could play a part in the beginning of it.
Whether you’ve been a fan for a long time or this is your first time, I’m sure you’ll all enjoy this work!
Thank you for your support!
