The photobook “How to go?” featuring Hanazawa Kana enjoying the city of Chongqing in China will be on sale on Mar. 16, 2020. Hanazawa commented about the shooting session: “I was so excited because in the hotel the shooting targets were only women. This was so sexy! (laugh). Some cuts were quite provocative”.
Her photobook “How to go?” was announced to commemorate the 30th anniversary for her activities as a voice actor and artist. It is a book full of cuts featuring the hit of “Ren'ai Circulation”, one of her representative songs, with China being chosen as the shooting location as there she performed her first overseas performance.
In Chongqing, where modern buildings and good old-fashioned Chinese streets coexist, she took photos while interacting and exchanging words with local people.
The photobook is packed with her realistic and natural charm including; photos that show her eating around in some Yatai during the evening, running on an open field in rough clothes such as T-shirts and short pants, and relaxing in a hotel room while wearing a transparent tulle dress.
In addition, an interview that looks back on her half a lifetime is included, as well as handwritten poems.
Kana Hanazawa's photobook “How to go?” will be released on Mar. 16, 2020. The price is 3,000 JPY (excluding tax).
Furthermore, a “sale commemorative gift bonus event” for all the purchasers is scheduled to be held.

[Comment from Hanazawa Kana]
Last year I had a lot of opportunities to go to China for work, and since in the same period I was offered to make a photo session, I decided to shoot in China. However, I thought that it would be more interesting to go to areas that I had not visited yet, rather than visiting Beijing or Shanghai. So I decided to shoot in Chongqing.
The shooting session in the hotel was only for women, so I was so excited that I thought “This is sexy!” (laughs). Some cuts were also quite provocative. However, I was so caught up that I completely forgot about my coordinator and manager who were attending a location hunting at Chongqing University, so I rushed after the shooting session was ended. Chongqing University was so comfortable, I felt at home when I went there, and it was also full of greenery.
I think that the photobook made me feel close to myself because I took it while feeling of traveling with a partner. I would be happy if we could enjoy a wonderful trip together.
