It has been announced that the anime “Detective Conan: The Culprit Hanzawa” will start broadcasting on October 3, 2022. Along with this announcement, the main PV with the narration by Aoi Shouta has been released. It was also announced that the opening theme song is handled by Niihama Leon while the ending theme song is by Kuraki Mai. Their comments have also been released.

“Detective Conan: The Culprit Hanzawa” is based on the manga by Kanba Mayuko with the original idea by Aoyama Gosho that is currently being serialized on “Shonen Sunday S” and it is a spin-off manga of “Detective Conan”. The main protagonist is the well-known black tights “culprit” the main work. It is a criminal comedy that depicts the daily life of the culprit Hanzawa (provisional) with a pure evil mind in the black tights at the crime city, Beika city with various worldwide level crimes.

In the PV that was released prior to the broadcast in October, it started with the black shadow descending to the crime city, Beika City with various worldwide level crimes. This black shadow with the objective of killing a “certain guy” is the indispensable fellow of “Detective Conan”… Hanzawa-san.
Along with the narration by Aoi Shouta (voice of Hanazawa-san), a portion of the opening theme “Tsukamaete, Konya.” by Niihama Leon and the ending theme “Secret, voice of my heart” by Kuraki Mai can be heard in this PV.

The messages from the two person who will help hype up the achievements of Hanzawa-san in the crime city, Beika City, the leader of the 7th generation of Enka, Niihama Leon, and Kuraki Mai who is a familiar figure of “Detective Conan”, on their joy of participating in the anime “Detective Conan: The Culprit Hanzawa” and their motivation have been released.

The anime “Detective Conan: The Culprit Hanzawa” will start broadcasting sequentially on October 3, on Tokyo MX, Yomiuri TV, and BS NTV. The worldwide exclusive streaming will start on Netflix on October 4.
