TV anime “Ascendance of a Bookworm: I’ll Stop at Nothing to Become a Librarian” season 3 will be broadcast from spring 2022. In addition, the teaser visual was released and comments from Iguchi Yuuka (Myne), Hayami Shou (Ferdinand), Kazuki Miya (the original author) and Hongou Mitsuru (director) have arrived. Moreover, season 1 and 2 of the TV anime series will be rebroadcast from October 2021.

“Ascendance of a Bookworm: I’ll Stop at Nothing to Become a Librarian” is the biblia fantasy by Kazuki Miya, which is currently published from “TO Books”. In the season 3, second half of the novel titled “Apprentice Shrine Maiden” will undergo the anime adaption, and depicts the story of Myne after becoming the blue apprentice of the shrine aiming to conduct letterpress printing method and approaching difficulties.

The teaser visual released this time contains Myne and Ferdinand.

Iguchi Yuuka (Myne) commented on the point in the season 3 as following-“In season 3, the important point of the story is the episode of Myne and her family in a long main story. The story begins to move forward greatly with appearance of multiple new characters! Also, please pay attention to the family love”.

Hayami Shou (Ferdinand) commented, “The enemies, intriguers, and villains will threaten Myne in season 3. As a guardian, Ferdinan keeps a closer look on Myne. I want to faithfully play Ferdinand with hidden passion and coolness”.

TV anime “Ascendance of a Bookworm: I’ll Stop at Nothing to Become a Librarian” season 3 will begin from spring 2022. Rebroadcast of season 1 and 2 will begin from October 2021 on TOKYO MX and BS Fuji.

TV anime “Ascendance of Bookworm” season 3 has been decided on spring 2022! I made you wait for the information release for 3rd season.
Part 1 “Daughter of a Soldier” was picked up in season 1 and the first half of part 2 “Apprentice Shrine Maiden” was shown in the season 2. The later half of the part 2 will become anime for season 3.
One important flow in season 3 is the letter printing technology starting around Myne. The voice will be given to the apprentice of blacksmith laboratory, who produces metal letters, and the members of ink producers. Please pay attention also to Benno, Lutz and Gil, who get involved in the change.

Another important event would be a prayer. The priest Ferdinand, Karstedt and Damuel, who got connected through Tronbe incident in season 2, and the unknown blue priest will participate. (laughter) I believe many people are waiting for appearance of him. Myne’s outfit for the prayer is cute and includes many important events during prayer, such as the prayer related to the villages, the description of summer mansion of Gibe, and attacks on it.
