The voice actor M・A・O will be appearing for the first time in the “Kamen Rider” series under “Kamen Rider Zero-One”.
From Episode 36 “Watashi ga Ark de Kamen Rider (I'm Ark's Kamen Rider)” (Broadcast on Jun. 28, 2020), M・A・O will be voicing the first original friend type AI “Ai-chan” that is created by the new company “Hiden Production” that belong to Kamen Rider Zero-One/ Hiden Aruto (Actor: Takahashi Fumiya).
Ai-chan is not created in a human form just like the Humagears but in a round form AI unit.
It has a simple function of “listening to people by their side” and the idea was thought by Aruto for Kamen Rider Vulcan/ Fuwa Isamu (Ogata Ryuutarou), who is worrying about his past. It was created by the Humagears Professor “Hakase Bot” (Rokkaku Shinji).
The voice actor M・A・O had acted as Gokai Yellow/ Luka Millfy from “Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger” under the actress name of Ichimichi Mao, and voice the character from “Uchuu Sentai Kyuuranger” and “Kishiryu Sentai Ryusoulger”, where she had appeared in three “Super Sentai” series while this is her first time appearing in “Kamen Rider” series.
Regarding this role, she commented:”Ai-chan is an interesting character as it is able to draw out the true and honest intention of a person while encouraging them at the same time. I hope you would look at Ai-chan's conversation carefully.”
In the world of “Kamen Rider Zero-One”, where numerous “miracle” had happened, how will Ai-chan affect the battle of Aruto and the others?

I was so happy that I get to appear in a “Kamen Rider” as this is the first time for me! It senses the difficulty in voicing an AI but I will do my best in doing it!!
——What's the charm of the friend type AI, Ai-chan? What is your focus when voicing it?
The friend type AI while being frank, it is able to approach people carefully without overstepping the boundary. I would like to voice it with an image of a friend that listening to others optimistically while being able to say out the main thing directly.
