With Taniguchi Gorou, director of “Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion” and Nakamura Kazuki who took part in the “Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann” series, a plan to create a new original TV anime have finally started. The series will be titled “Back Arrow” with Taniguchi Gorou as the director and Nakamura Kazuki as the series composer and scriptwriter for each episode.
The details of the original TV anime “Back Arrow” were unknown, until its commercial was first aired right after the main broadcast of “Fate/Grand Order – Absolute Demonic Front: Babylonia” on Dec. 28.
On YouTube, a video showing the beginning of the project has been released. The teaser visual shows a towering wall that pierced through the sky along with a young man staring at it. The narration is performed by Kaji Yuuki, who was also decided to appear in this work. Wonder what role will he play in the main story?
Taniguchi Gorou has previously directed titles such as “Infinite Ryvius”, “Planetes”, and “Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion”, and in 2019, released “Revisions”.
In 2020, it is revealed that he will be the general director of “Skate-Leading Stars,” which depicts an original figure skating team competition.
Nakamura Kazuki was the scriptwriter for various titles such as “Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann”, “Kill la Kill”, “Crayon Shin‑chan: Intense Battle! Robo Dad Strikes Back” and others. He also worked as the screenwriter for “Promare”, released in 2019.
