The summary and preview of the first episode “Kunekune Hunting” of TV Anime “Otherside Picnic” (broadcast on January 5, 2021) have been revealed.

“Otherside Picnic” is based on the novel of the same name by Miyazawa Iori that is published by “Hayakawa Bunko JA”.
The story takes place in the mysterious “Otherside”, a world right beside reality, where dangerous beings from ghost stories, including “Kunekune”, “Hasshaku-sama”, and “Kisaragi Station” appear .
Kamikoshi Sorao found the “Otherside” through a door in a deserted house, and after her encounter with Nishina Toriko, the dangerous survival of the two begins…

The title for episode 1 is “Kunekune Hunting”.
Kamikoshi Sorao is aware of the existence of the “Otherside” that is filled with strange beings from actual ghost stories, and has explored it many times.
One day, a beautiful young girl appeared infront of Kamikoshi Sorao, who was unable to move from encountering a strange being.
That girl is Nishina Toriko and she was exploring the “Otherside” with certain intention. In order to escape the strange being “Kunekune”, they decide to cooperate with each other…

First episode “Kunekune Hunting” of TV Anime “Otherside Picnic” was broadcast on January 5, 2021, at 12:30 AM, on TOKYO MX and other channels.
