It was announced that Sheena Ringo’s “Ito o Kashi” will be used as the ending theme of the 25th series of “Prince Mackaroo” that will start broadcasting on April 4. Sheena’s comments have been released as well.

“Prince Mackaroo” is a TV anime based on the manga by Inumaru Rin. The main protagonist is the child of the fairy aristocrat Miyabi from a thousand years ago, Sakanoue Ojarumaru.
Ojarumaru obtained the “scepter of Demon King Enma” and when he was escaping, he arrived at the modern Moonlight Town. It depicts a heart-warming comedy that revolves around Ojarumaru, the primary school boy that he encounters, Kazuma, and the “Oni Child Trio” that are trying to take back the scepter.

It was announced that the ending of the 25th series is handled by Sheena Ringo. The song is “Ito o Kashi”, and this is the first time that Sheena is handling the theme song of a TV anime series.

Sheena Ringo debuted in 1998, which is also the broadcast year of the anime “Prince Mackaroo”, and both of them are celebrating their 25th anniversary this year. The “collaboration with the same period companion” between Sheena Ringo and “Prince Mackaroo” has been realized.
Also, a special episode to commemorate the 25th anniversary, “Heiancho Onigami Kessen (Heian Period Demon Gods Battle)” will be broadcast on March 28, so please do check out this episode as well.

The 25th series of “Prince Mackaroo” will start broadcasting on April 4.

Sheena Ringo’s Comments

Prince Mackaroo has been loved by many for 25 years.

Ever since 1998, I snuggled up to the kitchen maid of Akashi Jikan and felt that she is quite reliable. When “Prince Mackaroo” was first broadcasted, I was 19 years old and had just announced my 2nd single “Kabukicho no Joo”. In another way, we are actually companions that debut at the same time… it is good that you are still fine. I’m very grateful to you for choosing me this time.

“Itoshi no Okashi (Dearest Sweet)” shorts for “Ito o Kashi”, to Ojarumaru, this is pudding. I hope that you could hear this song at least once as well.
