The ocean adventure, revolving around the titular treasure, “One Piece”, written by Oda Eiichiro, has reached its 1,000th chapter. As a commemoration of this, it has been announced that Issue 3/4 (to be released on December 21, 2020) and 5/6 (to be released on January 4, 2021) will be gorgeous special editions.

The connecting cover art of the two issues is titled “Rensaijin Kakioroshi! Jigou to Tsunagaru My Favorite One Piece Chara Daishuugou Hyoushi” (Illustrations by Jump manga artists! Cover art of characters from One Piece). With Luffy in the center, each Jump manga artist will draw their favorite “One Piece” character together with the protagonists of their own manga.
Shimabukuro Mitsutoshi has drawn “Gaimon”, Horikoshi Kouhei of “My Hero Academia” has drawn “Don Krieg”, and Boichi of “Dr. STONE” has drawn “Ace”. Let’s look forward to seeing which character each manga artist has drawn.

The two issues will also come with magazine inserts of posters that connect to become the largest Jump insert, “One Piece 1,000 Logs Poster”. When connected, they become a super large size of 847mm × 620mm, which lets you enjoy the original illustration by Oda Eiichiro on an intense scale. On the backside are a collection of all “Figuarts ZERO” series figures and a look back on the famous scenes and the story so far. There will also be a spinoff manga in collaboration with “Food Wars!: Shokugeki no Soma”, titled “Shokugeki no Sanji”.

“One Piece”, which started its serialization in July 1997, has reached its 999th chapter in “Weekly Shonen Jump” Issue 3/4 (currently in stores) and will reach chapter 1,000 in the next issue.

“Weekly Shonen Jump” Issue 3/4 is currently on sale.
