The Transponder Snail that became a hot topic for its realistic design in the Netflix live-action drama series “One Piece” (currently streamed) is now available as a piggy bank. “TOY SAPIENS” is now accepting preorders.
The original “One Piece” was first serialized in “Weekly Shonen Jump” by Oda Eiichiro in 1997, and is one of Japan’s most popular comics, with a total worldwide circulation of more than 490 million copies.
The story follows the epic adventures of the “Straw Hat Pirates” led by the hero Monkey D. Luffy in their quest for the “One Piece” treasure left behind by the legendary “Pirate King” Gol D. Roger.
From the live-action drama “One Piece,” which was released exclusively worldwide on August 31, Garp’s Transponder Snail has been sculpted into a resin piggy bank measuring approximately 14 cm high x 9 cm wide x 20 cm deep.
Every detail has been elaborately reproduced, including the texture of the slimy skin and the dial embedded in the shell, all painted by hand.
The pedestal on which the receiver is placed has a slot to insert coins. The receiver can also be placed and removed for role-playing fun.
