After confirming positive for novel coronavirus, the voice actress Kurosawa Tomoyo has announced that she had been discharged on October 19, 2020. She posted her current personal thoughts at the social network.
Kurosawa is a voice actor that is known for her roles, such as Omae Kumiko from “Sound! Euphonium”, Akagi Miria from “The Idolmaster Cinderella Girls”, Arisugawa Otome from “Aikatsu!”, and Michelle (Okusawa Misaki) from “BanG Dream!”
In autumn 2020, she is voicing Saya from “Wandering Witch: The Journey of Elaina”, Ordinary Person from “Akudama Drive”, Kurenai from “Rail Romanesque”, and other roles.
On October 9, 2020, her affiliated agency, Mouse Production has announced that Kurosawa was tested positive for novel coronavirus on the official website.
Then, Kurosawa’s discharge from the hospital was announced on the same website on the 19, and it said, “On October 8, Kurosawa Tomoyo was tested positive for novel coronavirus in the PCR test, and under the advice of the health care center, she was hospitalized at a metropolitan hospital for treatment. We would like to report that as she has satisfied condition for discharge set by the Ministry of Health, Labor, and Welfare, she has now came back to her home.”
Kurosawa has updated her Twitter and Instagram on 19th also.
Along with her apologize saying, “I would like to take this opportunity to apologize to everyone who was worried about me as well as troubled due to this matter”, she also mentioned about her mental state after receiving the result of the test saying, “I was quite frustrated when I heard that I was tested positive in the test despite being extremely cautious in my daily life for few months.”
Follow by the appreciation to the people in her surrounding, “Also, I would like to thank everyone from the bottom of my heart! For the warm affectionate words from my family, Senpai, friend as well as the continuous encouragement from everyone in the social media.” Kurosawa also thanked the medical personnel, saying “I would like to give my greatest thank to the medical personnel for their kind and gentle treatment and nursing despite having the risk of being infected. There are times when I felt depressed because of the high fever and tonsillitis but… I was really saved by the personality and kindness of everyone in the hospital. I really can’t thank you enough for this.”
