In Oct. 2020, the “Autumn Cours” anime season has started. According to a survey conducted at Anime! Anime!, Nakamura Yuichi and Minase Inori shared the 1st place in the number of main appearances by gender (※). In this article, we will introduce the appearances of those two in autumn’s titles.

■Male voice actors: Nakamura Yuichi, what about so many “big brother” roles !?

Nakamura Yuichi debuted in the 2000s. He is known for many roles, including OkazakiTomoya in “CLANNAD”, Saotome Alto in “Macross Frontier”, and Bruno Bucciarati in “Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure Golden Wind”. In the 2020 summer anime cours, he appeared in “Fruit Basket” (role of Sohma Shigure) and “Pokemon” (role of Dr. Sakuragi).

Currently, he is active not only as a voice actor but also expanding the range of his interests, holding a Youtube channel with writer Mafia Kajita.

In what kind of work he will appear in fall 2020?

Nakamura-san will appear in 7 titles, which are: in the 3rd season of “Mr. Osomatsu” (Osomatsu Matsuno), “The Irregular at Magic High School” (Tsukasa Nami), “Please Take My Brother Away!” (Shi Fen), “Jujutsu Kaisen” (Satoru Gojo), “Warlords of Sigrdrifa” (Ron Mao), “Munou na Nana” (Onodera Kyoya), “Dragon’s Dogma” (“Assasin” Ethan).

His variety of roles including cool, easy-going and elusive characters. Looking at the list of roles, it feels that there are many “big brother” roles… The first episodes are already released, and we are looking forward to seeing what these characters will be like with Nakamura-san’s “voice”.

How about other voice actor’s roles?

About voice actors’ roles, Hosoya Yoshimasa will appear in “Golden Kamuy” (Tanigaki Genjiro), “Attack on Titan: The Final” (Reiner Brown), and “Tsukiuta. “THE ANIMATION2” (Uduki Arata), “Haikyu !! TO THE TOP” 2nd Cool (Azumane Asahi), “Grand Blues!” (Belial) and “Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? III” (Welf Crozzo), 6 works in total.
Also, Ono Kensho will appear “Please Take My Brother Away!” (Zhen Kaixin), “Tsukiuta. “THE ANIMATION2” (Kannazuki Iku), “Gymnastics Samurai” (Leonardo), “Idolish7: Second BEAT!” (Nanase Riku), and “Ikebukuro West Gate Park” (as Crow).

■Voice actress: the variety of Minase Inari’s works!

Minase Inori debuted in 2010. Her famous roles are “Somali and the Forest Spirit” (as Somali), “The Quintessential Quintuplets” (Nakano Itsuki), and “KiraKira Precure A La Mode” (Kirarin / Ciel Kirahoshi / Cure Parfait). In the summer anime cours, she appeared in “Re: Life in a Different World from Zero” 2nd season (Rem) and “No Guns Life” (role of Pepper).


In addition, she debuted as an artist in 2015 and is in charge of the theme song for many anime works. Since then, she has been energetically continuing her musical activities.

In what fall 2020 anime titles she will appear?

Minase-san will continue her work in “Is the Order a Rabbit?” (Chino), “Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?” (Hestia), “Assault Lily Bouquet” (Mashima Moyu), “Kuma Kuma Kuma Bear” (Shea Fochrose), “Sleepy Princess in the Demon Castle” (Princess Suyaris), “Grand Blues!’ (Diantha), 6 titles in total.

Minase-san has played many characters so far, from straightforward to tsundere characters who can not be express their feelings. In the autumn anime season, don’t miss her to play unique characters such as the free-spirited Princess Suyaris who is looking for a good night’s sleep and the cool and quiet Chino.

In addition, how about other voice actresses’ roles?

Among the female voice actresses, Komatsu Mikako, Tomita Miyu, and Hayami Saori each will appear in five works. Komatsu-san will appear in “Jujutsu Kaisen” (Sadain Maki), “Yashahime: Princess Half-Demon” (Setuna), and Tomita-san in “Kuma Kuma Kuma Bear” (Shuri), “I Tried Asking While Kowtowing” (Miseuchi Kananami / Minister Shioya), and Hayami-san in asked, “Is the Order a Rabbit? ” (Aoyama Midori), “The Irregular at Magic High School ” (Shiba Miyuki).
