The radio program “Today is a day of Gundam Zanmai”, which focused on the “music” of the “Mobile Suit Gundam” series and was broadcast in May last year, will be broadcast again on NHK-FM on May 6, 2020, as the second installment, “Today is a day of 'Gundam' Zanmai Z”.
“Mobile Suit Gundam” is a long-broadcast anime series that has produced nearly 50 works such as theatrical version, and OVA since the start of TV broadcast in April 1979. But new Gundams are still being created, such as the Hathaway of Flash (released Jul. 23, 2020) in the Reiwa era.
This program features music that colors the 50 Gundam works for eight and a half hours based on the received requests during the broadcast. This time, not only theme songs but also the background music that appeared in the works also will be covered.
“Today is the day of 'Gundam' Zanmai Z” will be broadcast on NHK-FM on May 6, 2020, from 12:15 to 21:15 (with news interruption).
