YOASOBI, who will sing the opening theme “Shukufuku” for the TV anime “Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury,” will be the one-night-only personality on the Nippon Broadcasting System’s radio program “All Night-NIPPON” on September 17, 2022, at 1 AM. Ayase and ikura of YOASOBI released comments.

“Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury,” which will begin airing on October 2, is the latest TV anime in the “Gundam” series set in “A.S. (Ad Stella) 122,” an era in which numerous corporations have expanded into space and established a huge economic zone.
The story begins when a girl named Suletta Mercury from the remote land of Mercury is accepted into the pilot course at Asticasia High School, which is run by the “Benelit Group,” the largest manufacturer in the suit industry.

The opening theme song, “Shukufuku,” is YOASOBI’s latest song based on “Yurikago no Hoshi,” a novel by Ohkouchi Ichirou, the scriptwriter of the Mobile Suit Gundam series.

YOASOBI will serve as a one-night-only personality for “YOASOBI’s All Night-NIPPON,” a live broadcast during the “All Night-NIPPON MUSIC WEEK,” which will be held for the first time in three years to celebrate the 55th anniversary of All Night-NIPPON.
YOASOBI has been in charge of two special programs of “All Night-NIPPON 0 (ZERO)” and was a regular personality of “All Night-NIPPON X (Cross)” on Tuesdays from April 2021 to March 2022. This is their first appearance on “All Night-NIPPON,” which starts at 1 AM, commonly known as “Section 1.”

In the program, “Shukufuku,” the opening theme song of “Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury,” will be performed in the anime version for the first time. Fans cannot miss this chance to hear the song before the anime broadcast and the release of the song.

The radio program “YOASOBI’s All Night-NIPPON,” in which “Shukufuku,” the opening theme song of the TV anime “Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury,” will be performed in the anime version for the first time, will be broadcast live on September 16 from 1 AM to 3 AM on 36 stations nationwide.
