Oshii Mamoru's new Anime "Vlad Love" releases a key visual and "Guess the Voice Actors Quiz"!
Oshii Mamoru, known for "Ghost in the Cell" and "Patlabor", is currently busy at work as the original creator, screenwriter and general director for the new animation "Vlad Love". "Vlad Love" has released its first key visual. In addition, the official website is now hosting a "Guess the Voice Actors Quiz", those who guess correctly will have a chance to be invited to a preview screening. World-famous anime creators will be joining the crew of "Vlad Love". Oshii Mamoru has teamed up with Nishimura Junji (know for "Urusei Yatsura", on which the two worked together), who will be directing, Wakabayashi Kazuhiro, who will function as sound director, and Kawai Kenji, who will be composing the music. Oshii has been depicting slapstick comedy since Urusei Yatsura. Bamba Mitsugu is a high school girl and a blood donation enthusiast. She passes her days frequenting blood donation cars, where she gets treated cruelly by the nurses... Then one day, she meets a beautiful foreign (?) girl near the blood donation car. The girl looked pale, and like she might collapse any moment, then, the moment it looked like her blood might be drawn, she changed suddenly and destroyed the blood donation car. Mitsugu somehow manages to protect the unconscious girl and decides to carry her home... Episodes 7 to 12 of "Vlad Love", the new animation series by the director Oshii Mamoru and Nishimura Junji, will be broadcast from midnight of Mar. 14, 2021, in multiple streaming platforms in Japan. Moreover, the scene cuts for these episodes have been revealed as well. "Vlad Love" is directed, written, and charged by Oshii Mamoru, who is well known for the works like "Patlabor" and "GHOST IN THE SHELL", and will be directed by Nishimura Junji. This tag-team will be formed for the first time since "Urusei Yatsura". The protagonist is a female high school student called Banba Mitsugu, who heavily loves to donate her blood. She will be denied by the nurses since she goes to the blood donation too much. One day, she encounters a girl from abroad in the blood donation car. That girl with extremely white skin destroys the donation car right after the nurse attempts to reject some of her blood. Mitsugu, takes the girl to her home for no reason after the girl faints. The comment by the director Oshii explained the later half that "I will tell you what will be happening if you made fun of an elderly", and his uniqueness explodes further. Oshii Mamoru Returns to Serialized Anime! His Latest Title "Vlad Love" Releases its Teaser and Begins a Charity Project.
The teaser of "Vlad Love", the latest animation series by directors Oshii Mamoru and Nishimura Junji, has been released. Along with it, a poster contest as a charity event has been announced. "Vlad Love" is an anime series by Oshii as chief director and Nishimura as director, and will be the first time since "Urusei Yatsura" for the two to work together. This will be the first slapstick comedy for Oshii since "Urusei Yatsura", and he intends to pursue the advantages of a serialized anime. The protagonist of this show, Banba Mitsugu, is a high school girl who is seriously addicted to blood donation. She goes to the blood donation van so often that the nurses treat her bluntly. One day, Mitsugu meets a beautiful foreign (?) girl at the van. As she was about to be taken her blood, the pale girl suddenly got violent and destroys the van. The girl faints and Mitsugu impulsively decides to take her home...
