It was decided that Masuda Toshiki and Uchida Maaya are the welcome ambassadors for the manga and anime event “Kyoto International Manga Anime Fair (KyoMafu)” that will be held on September 18, 2021 and September 19, 2021.
As part of the 10th-anniversary project, the street-walking audio guide to travel Kyoto with the “voice” of the voice actors “TabiMafu”, featuring the past voice actors that were elected as the welcome ambassador, has been decided.
The largest manga and anime event in west Japan, “Kyoto International Manga Anime Fair (KyoMafu) 2021” will be held at Miyako Messe (Kyoto International Exhibition Hall) and Kyoto International Manga Museum.
The welcome ambassadors of KyoMafu 2021 have been decided and they are Masuda Toshiki (known for his roles as Izumi Iori from “IDOLiSH7” and Kirishima Eijiro from “My Hero Academia”) and Uchida Maaya (known for her role as Katarina Claes from “My Next Life as a Villainess: All Routes Lead to Doom!” and Norman from “The Promised Neverland”).
During the commemorative 10th anniversary of “KyoMafu 2021”, not only will you be able to see them on the event date, but they will also help to hype up this event in various formats. The messages from the two have been released.
Also, the first lineup in the 10th-anniversary project is the street-walking audio guide to travel Kyoto with the “voice” of the voice actors “TabiMafu”, featuring the past voice actors that were elected as the welcome ambassadors.
It will feature Kaji Yuuki, Shimono Hiro, and Yashiro Taku as well as the current ambassadors, who are Masuda Toshiki and Uchida Maaya. The theme of this audio guide is “Field Trip” that will allow you to experience new charms of Kyoto by traveling around actual famous places while listening to the guide and conversations of the unique teachers as if you are a student participating in the field trip.
Also, on KyoMafu Twitter account, the voting for the 10th anniversary commemorative logo of KyoMafu has started on July 6. Please do vote for your favorite logo from the various colorful and gorgeous drafts.
“Kyoto International Manga Anime Fair” will be held in each part of Kyoto on September 18, 2021 and September 19, 2021. The detailed information on each project is available on the official website.
