Yuki Ono, a voice actor known for playing the role of Taiga Kagami in “Kuroko’s Basketball,” has been chosen as the manager of Bandai’s new fashion brand “ONOFFYFREE”. The first series featuring ‘Kuroko’s Basketball’ is now available for order.

“ONOFFY FREE” is a brand that proposes fashionable products to female fans of anime, manga, and games, featuring different titles.
With its theme “Be with anime ON (outdoors) and OFF (indoors)”, the brand will mainly roll out loungewear and “one-mile wear”, which have become a trend during the pandemic, with “low-profile” character design.

The first series to be announced after the brand’s establishment is inspired by the characters of ‘Kuroko’s Basketball.
The lead item “Loungewear” is available in two designs, one based on the uniform of Teiko Junior High Basketball Club and the other designed with “Tetsuya #2”, the pet dog of Seirin High Male Basketball Club.

There is a total of 9 items on sale, including the light and easy-to-carry “Shoulder Bag”, which is reminiscent of the mesh of basketball uniforms, and “Wallet” embossed with shooting scenes of the characters.

The original work of the anime ‘Kuroko’s Basketball’ is a basketball manga by Tadatoshi Fujimaki, which was serialized in “Weekly Shonen Jump” until 2014.
Set in the basketball club of Seirin High, which is in its second year of establishment, the story depicts the main character Tetsuya Kuroko and Taiga Kagami facing off against the rival school where their former teammates from junior high, also known as the “Generation of Miracles”, belong to.
In 2022, the 10th-Anniversary Project was started to commemorate the anime series’ 10th anniversary.
