A collaboration between voice actor Soma Saito and ‘Shiciken’, a sake brand representing Saito’s hometown, Yamanashi, has been announced.
They have co-produced the Nihonshu under the theme of “Nihonshu you want to drink while reading” and are currently accepting reservations with the limited supplies of 2,000 bottles.

“Soma Saito×Shichiken Original Nihonshu” is a project that derives from Saito’s gratitude for his hometown and passion for spreading the delicious Nihonshu produced by Yamanashi Meijo, a local sake brewery of Yamanashi.
The drink was produced under the theme of “Nihonshu you want to drink while reading”. To get a clear image of the taste and the concept, Saito himself visited the brewery and had discussions with the brewers, as well as getting a hand-on rice harvesting experience. Currently, Saito is passionately engaging in creating a Nihonshu that reflects his aspect as a great reader.

The 2,000 limited edition Nihonshu will be available for 9,980 JPY (tax-included). A separate fee will be charged for shipping. The product will come in a special collaborative box, as well as a special booklet. Pre-orders are currency available on “NEW×NEW Online Shop”, a liquor store that specializes in collaborative alcoholic beverages. Visit the website for more details.

You can also purchase the product Animate Girls Festival 2021 (AGF 2021), which will be held on November 6 and 7 at Sunshine City in Ikebukuro. There will be a must-see exhibition for fans that introduces Yamanashi Meijo and the collaboration project, including photos of Saito experiencing rice harvesting and having discussions with the brewers.
