The outline and sneak peek of episode 1 “When You Wish Upon a Star” (Broadcast Date: October 10, 2021) of the fall anime “Build Divide: Code Black” have been released.

“Build Divide: Code Black” is the first “TCG x original anime project” of Aniplex, and the original creators are Kawamoto Homura and Muno Hikaru, who handled “Kakegurui – Compulsive Gambler”.
The story takes place in the city, Shin-Kyoto, which is governed by the “King” and all superiority or inferiority is decided by the strength of the “TCG” and depicts the efforts of the young boy Teruhito Kurabe, who swore to defeat the king due to a certain reason, in the TCG battle called “Rebuild” while being guided by the mysterious young girl Banka Sakura.

The title of episode 1 is “When You Wish Upon a Star”.
The “Shin Kyoto” equipped with the AR infrastructure is governed by a “King” and it is an unreasonable place where all superiority or inferiority is decided by the strength of the rebuild battle.
On a certain day, Teruhito Kurabe was wandering “Shin Kyoto” with bread in one of his hands and he encountered the young girl Banka Sakura, who is chased by a delinquent. With the power of the card, he helped her.

After seeing that power, Sakura challenged Teruhito to a battle as she see he has a strong build divide power.
She is actually looking for a potential candidate, who is able to win through the “Rebuild Battle” to earn the right to challenge the King. However, Teruhito has lost most of his memory…
