The voice actor, Shimono Hiro, known for his role as Agatsuma Zenitsu from “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba”, took a break after he got tested positive for the novel coronavirus. Then, on July 13, 2021, he had announced his comeback and delivered a message to the fan on his own Twitter.

After Shimono was tested positive on the PCR test on July 2, he had followed the instructions from the health facility and undergone recuperation.
During the recuperation period, Matsuoka Yoshitsugu was his replacement for “CDTV Live! Live”, Hikasa Youko was his replacement for “Say You to Yoasobi”, and Suzuki Tatsuhisa was his replacement for “Shimono Hiro & Tatsumi Yuiko’s Shousetsuka ni Narou Radio”.

After that, on July 12, it was announced on the official website of his affiliated agency, I’m Enterprise that “We would like to announce that our talent, Shimono Hiro, who had undergone recuperation after being tested for the novel coronavirus, is continuing his activity on July 13 after receiving the permission from the health facility and satisfying the requirements from the Ministry of Health, Labour, and Welfare.”

On the same day of that announcement, Shimono had tweeted on Twitter “I’m back!!”, and toward the fans’ comment, he is relying his own thought by tweeting “I will do my best if everyone is enjoying it… But, I will be careful. So, please forgive me” and “I won’t make you worry about me anymore!!”

Also, toward the comeback of Shimono, the word “Shimono-san” had become a trend on Twitter.
Not only did the “I’m back!!” tweet of Shimono received a lot of joyful reply from the fans, but Kaji Yuuki, Tsuda Kenjirou, and Ono Yuuki had also commented “Welcome back”.
