The third part of the Netflix original anime “Baki” series, “Baki: Son of Ogre”, will be distributed worldwide exclusively in the fall of 2021. At the same time, the key visual and the first PV have been released.
This anime is based on the fighting manga series “Baki: Son of Ogre” which is serialized in “Weekly Shonen Champion” and has a total circulation of over 85 million copies.
So far, the Netflix anime series has delivered and broadcasted “Baki” The Most Evil Death Row Convicts Arc in 2018 and “Baki” the Great Chinese Challenge Arc in 2020, completing the second part of the “Baki” series. And now, the third part of the series, “Baki: Son of Ogre”, in which the causal father and son clash with all their might, will be distributed exclusively worldwide by Netflix in the fall of 2021.
The visual released at the same time shows the main characters, Hanma Baki and Mantis, facing each other head-on, and their father, Hanma Yujiro, standing in the distance, making a huge impact.
The first PV shows the fierce battles of the different kinds of martial arts that lead up to the “strongest father-son fight in history” that is imminent.
As well as that, it has been announced that Han Megumi will play the role of Ayukawa Rumina, an elementary school student who witnesses the fight between Baki and Mantis, and the main staff information and the opening theme “Treasure Pleasure” sung by GRANRODEO are also unveiled in the PV.
Also, comments from KISHOW and e-ZUKA of GRANRODEO have arrived.
“Baki: Son of Ogre” will be distributed exclusively worldwide by Netflix in the fall of 2021.
