Form the TV anime “Kingdom”, the outline and scenes from episode 4 “Futatsu no Senjou” (Two Battlefields), broadcast on Sunday, April 25, 2021, were released .
“Kingdom” is a Chinese war-time historical drama based on the manga by Hara Yasuhisa, serialized in “Weekly Young Jump”. Set in China in the Warring States period, the story depicts, Shin (Xin), the boy who aims to become a “Great General of the Heavens”, and the young king Ei Sei (Ying Zheng), who later becomes the first emperor.
The 1st season of the TV anime was broadcast on NHK BS Premium from June 2021 to February 2013, followed by a 2nd season from June 2013 to March 2014. The 3rd season depicting the “Coalition Invasion Arc”, which is said to be the largest scaled battle in “Kingdom”, started in April 2020, but the broadcast of episode 5 and on had been delayed. The season restarted on April 4, 2021, restarting from episode 1.
Episode 4 is titled “Futatsu no Senjou”.
The battle of Hangu Pass has begun. The Hi Shin Unit (Fei Xin Force) was assigned under the command of General Hyou Kou (Lord Biao). They destroy the Zhao army along with the “Hyou Kou Worriers”, under the direct control of the general.
But suddenly, the momentum of the Hyou Kou army makes a halt.
The Hyou Kou army was actually being trapped by the tricks of Kei Sha (Qing She), who Ri Boku (Li Mu) places full confidence in. The tables have turned, and now the Hyou Kou army is being driven into a corner when someone comes to the rescue…
“Kingdom” Episode 4 “Futatsu no Senjou” was broadcast on NHK General from 0:15 a.m. on April 25, 2021.
