The online streaming service Netflix has announced the lineup of upcoming anime for May 2020.
Netflix's original anime series is packed with new releases such as “Ghost in the Shell: SAC_2045” and season 2 of “Scissor Seven”. In addition, other noteworthy works will color up your “home time”, such as “The Disastrous Life of Saiki K.”, “Wasteful Days of High School Girls”, and “Digimon Adventure”.

“Ghost in the Shell SAC_2045” will be distributed exclusively on Netflix worldwide from Apr. 23. The story is set in the year of 2045, when a new entity with marvelous intellectual and physical abilities called “Post-Human” suddenly make its appearance facing the former “Public Security Division 9” led by Kusanagi Motoko, a cyborg who showed her skills as an ex-mercenary on the west coast of the US continent. This is the latest work of “Ghost in the Shell” and the first full 3DCG animation in the series' history.

“Digimon Adventure” will be released on May 1. The elementary school student Yagami Taichi and his friends are thrown out into the virtual world “Digital World”, where they encounter mysterious creatures called “Digital Monsters (Digimon). After becoming partners, they will start new adventures fighting and growing up together.

While fans are looking forward to the broadcast's restart of the completely new anime “Digimon Adventure:”, the first TV anime in the Digimon series will be available to celebrate its 20th anniversary. Please check it out!

Furthermore, season 2 of the Chinese animated series “Scissor Seven”, which is full of comical characters and surreal laughs, will be available exclusively on Netflix worldwide on May 7.
The gorgeous line-up will also include season 1 & 2, the final arc, and the Netflix original sequel (currently broadcast) of the psychic comedy “The Disastrous Life of Saiki K.”, and the gag anime “Wasteful Days of High School Girls”, which depicts the wasteful life of a group of teenage girls.
