Ahead of the broadcast of TV anime "Mars Red" in April 2021, the mini anime "Zerokikan Daily" will be distributed from Nov. 24, 2020. "Mars Red" is an anime adaptation based on a stage reading play, which is written and directed by Fujisawa Bun-O, known as the leading person of stage reading play, and Karakara Kemuri, known for "Laughing Under the Clouds" and "Laughing in Purgatory" handles its main visual. The story takes place in Tokyo in 1923 and depicts the activities of the "Zero Organization", the 16th Special Task Force that the Japanese government created to take down the vampiric forces. In the mini anime, the five members of 'the 16th Special Task Force -Zero Organization-' as the main characters of the TV anime will be drawn as mini characters: Kurusu Shotaro (CV: Hatanaka Tasuku), Maeda Yoshinobu (CV: Suwabe Junishi), Yamagami Tokuichi (CV: Yamadera Koichi), Takeuchi (CV: Ishida Akira), and Suwa (CV: Suzumura Kenichi). The 1st episode depicts the daily life of Zero Organization, featuring Maeda Yoshinobu (CV: Suwabe Junishi) and Yamagami Tokuichi (CV: Yamadera Koichi). They are tasked with taking down the vampiric forces, but what is their private life like...? A total of five episodes of "Zerokikan Daily" will be distributed until right before the broadcast at 20:00 on the fourth Tuesday of each month, from November 24 to March 23. The 2nd announcement of casts for the anime "MARS RED", based on a musical stage reading and scheduled to be broadcast on 2021, are Orikasa Fumiko, Takagi Ayahi, Furukawa Makoto, etc. At the same time, the characters' visuals have been revealed. “MARS RED” is a musical stage reading anime where it is originally written, scripted, and directed by the playwriter Fujisawa Bunou, who is titled “the leading person in musical stage readings” and the mangaka Karakara Kemuri is in charge of the main visual. The story is set in the Taisho era (Period in the Japan history dating from 30 July 1912 to 25 December 1926)where it depicts the action of the “Special Unit 16” aka “the Zero Agency” of the anti-vampire organization secretly formed by the Japanese government. It was announced that Orikasa Fumiko, Yanaka Hiroshi, Takagi Ayahi, Kokuryuu Sachi, and Furukawa Makoto will join as the cast. Orikasa and Yanaka will be voicing Shirase Aoi and Nakajima Sonosuke respectively, who are familiar and important characters in the musical stage reading. Takagi, Kokuryuu, and Furukawa will be voicing the new original character which are Misaki, Tenmaya Shinnosuke, and Rufus Glen. From the TV anime "MARS RED", the summary and scene-cut of #1 "Dawn", which started airing on April 5, 2021 (Mon), have been released. “MARS RED" is the first TV anime adaptation from an original music reading play. The original story is written by Fujisawa Bun-O, a leading figure in music recitation, the original characters are designed by Karakara Kemuri known for "Laughing Under the Clouds", and the series composition and script are written by Fujisaki Junichi known for "Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex". The story is set in the Taisho era and depicts the story of the Japanese government's anti-vampire agency, the 16th Special Task Force (a.k.a. Code Zero). The title of #1 is "Dawn". It's early summer in 1923, and Maeda Yoshinobu is greeted at Tokyo Station by Moriyama, a member of the 16th Special Task Force. Moriyama, on the orders of Lieutenant General Nakajima, invited Maeda to a facility in Tsukishima. What Maeda saw there was a vampire who was singing the lines of Queen Salome in a high-pitched voice. The vampire is a stage actress from the Imperial Theater, Misaki, and Maeda begins to pursue who the vampire is that has done this to her. However, during the investigation, Maeda receives a call that Misaki has escaped from Tsukishima. “MARS RED" #1 "Dawn" started airing on Yomiuri TV and other stations from April 5, 2021.
