"TYPE-MOON Exhibition: Fate/stay night -15 years of history-" is held at Sony Music Roppongi Museum, Tokyo from Dec. 20. Ahead of the release to the public, there was a preview of the exhibition for the press on Dec. 19.
Furudate Haruichi's volleyball manga "Haikyu!!", which ran in Weekly Shonen Jump from 2012 to 2020, will celebrate its 10th anniversary in 2022. It has been revealed that 10 major projects are underway for the anniversary year, and four of them have been announced ahead of time, including a short radio drama and the return of the exhibition to Tokyo. First of all, a new key visual for the 10th anniversary of "Haikyu!!", drawn by the original author Furudate Haruichi, will be created. The key visual for the 10th anniversary of "Haikyu! characters as they will be in the year 2022, and the first two characters to be unveiled are Kozume and Kuroo. More characters will be added to the series, and the final version will be released next year. Next, it was announced that a short radio drama will be produced and that Furudate will write the script. It will be an omnibus-style short drama about the characters' daily lives, written by the original author himself. This short drama will be broadcast on the web radio "Karasuno High School Broadcast Club" from 2022. In addition, "Serial Conclusion Commemoration Haikyu!! Exhibition FINAL", which started in Sendai in September 2020, will be held in Tokyo in February 2022. The exhibition, which has toured seven venues across Japan so far, will open in Hiroshima on December 22, 2021, the first venue in the Chugoku region. And then, the final exhibition will be held in Tokyo. The exhibition called "Serial Conclusion Commemoration Haikyu!! Exhibition FINAL" will feature Furudate's handwritten scripts and colour illustrations as well as new items. There will also be new goods on sale at the same venue, and preparations are underway to make this the perfect finale to the exhibition that has been running for about a year and a half. "Haikyu!!" and Japan's top volleyball league, "V.LEAGUE", will hold a collaborative match event in Tokyo in August 2022. The event will be broadcast both in front of an audience and online, and will feature a key visual drawn by Furudate. The details of the event will be announced in the "Weekly Shonen Jump" magazine in the future. Even after the series has been completed, the popularity of "Haikyu!!" never goes down. Items for the 30th-anniversary exhibition will also on resale at the venue. The event, “Mobile Police Patlabor II Advertising / Poster Exhibition” will exhibit a large number of original posters used for advertising purposes in video package, soundtrack CDs, and others at that time.
