It has been announced that a large-scale exhibition, ” Akutami Gege ‘Jujutsu Kaisen’ Exhibition,” revealing the “Creation Secrets” of the manga “Jujutsu Kaisen,” will be held at Hikarie Hall in Shibuya Hikarie, Tokyo, from July 6 to August 27. Along with this announcement, the key visual drawn specifically for this exhibition will be unveiled for the first time, and details regarding tickets have also been released.

“Jujutsu Kaisen” is a dark fantasy manga series serialized in “Weekly Shonen Jump” since 2018, authored by Akutami Gege. It portrays the story of Itadori Yuji, a high school student who steps into the world of battles revolving around curses after the seal of a powerful “cursed object” is broken. As of January 4, 2024, the series has surpassed 90 million copies in circulation, including digital versions, with 25 volumes already released.

The series has also been adapted into an anime, with the first season airing from October 2020 to March 2021. The movie “Jujutsu Kaisen 0,” released in December 2021, recorded a massive hit with a total worldwide box office revenue of 26.5 billion yen, sparking a major movement. The upcoming ” Akutami Gege ‘Jujutsu Kaisen’ Exhibition” will showcase the creative process of the series using digital techniques, accompanied by explanations from the author. Tickets for the exhibition will be sold with designated dates and times. Sales will be divided into three stages: “Premiere Pre-sale,” “Early Period,” and “Late Period,” with some dates subject to advance lottery. The “Premiere Pre-sale” tickets, offering the fastest access to the exhibition, will begin accepting lottery entries from 10:00 am on April 6. Additionally, it has been decided that the exhibition will also take place in Osaka in the spring of 2025.
