"Stand by Me Doraemon 2" will be released on Nov. 20, 2020. Suda Masaki sings the theme song. Along with that, a trailer with the theme song and poster have been revealed.
"Stand by Me Doraemon 2" is a 3DCG animation, which will be released following "Doraemon the Movie: Nobita's New Dinosaur", commemorating the 50th anniversary of its manga's serialization. The previous work "Stand by Me Doraemon" was released in 2014, and earned over 8.38 billion JPY nationwide, a total of over 10 billion JPY worldwide, as its wonderful visual that pulled the viewers into the Doraemon world, and the moving story attracted a lot of people.
