"Mobile Suit Gundam: Hathaway's Flash" is based on the light novel by Tomino Yoshiyuki that continue the unique world setting and it depicts the events 33 years after the final battle between Amuro and Char that was shown in "Mobile Suit Gundam: Char's Counterattack". It depicts the challenge faced by the anti-Federation government organization "Mafty" as well as the intersection of fate between the leader of that organization Hathaway Noa, the mysterious beauty Gigi Andalucia, and the colonel of the Earth Federation Forces, Kenneth Sleg.
