The TV anime ‘Attack on Titan’, of which the final chapter will be broadcast in a month, makes the cover of the ‘Bessatsu Shonen Magazine’ March Issue released on February 9. The author Isayama Hajime released a comment to the readers.
The original work of ‘Attack on Titan’ is the dark fantasy by Isayama Hajime that was serialized in the ‘Bessatsu Shonen Magazine’ from 2009 to 2021. The manga series, consisting of 34 volumes, has sold more than 110 million copies worldwide, becoming a social phenomenon in Japan and abroad.
The work continues to boast enormous popularity even after its serialization has ended, producing a variety of cross-media content including an animated TV series.
In the first half of the final part of ‘The Final Season,’ Eren carries out the Rumbling with his plan to devastate the world. Countless titans have begun marching, trampling down in their path. Mikasa, Armin, Jean, Connie, Hanji, Reiner, Annie, Peak, the mortally wounded Levi, and the others are left behind to fight a final battle to stop Eren.
In the March issue of ‘Bessatsu Shonen Magazine’ on sale on February 9, ‘Attack on Titan’ returns to the cover. The author Isayama Hajime commented to readers, “I knew it would be challenging to draw a lively picture of a finished work, so it took me a while to make up my mind. After a lot of consideration, I finally decided on the composition and felt that this was the only way I could draw it.”
The issue also comes with a clear file folder featuring the cover illustration.
The first part of the final part of the TV anime ‘Attack on Titan: The Final Season’ is scheduled to air on NHK at 24:25 on March 3. With less than a month to go until the broadcast, fans are excited about more updates.
