The first collaboration project between the anime "One Piece" and "Kocha Kaden" started on April 24, 2023, with a one-night-only live streaming and a giveaway of limited merchandise for live viewers. Customers can win original collaboration merchandise from purchase receipts and a limited collaboration commercial will be broadcast during the anime "One Piece" . The original work of "One Piece" is the maritime adventure romance serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" by Oda Eiichiro since 1997, which has a total worldwide circulation of over 500 million copies. The story follows the thrilling adventures of the "Straw Hat Pirates," led by Monkey D. Luffy, as they embark on a journey to find the legendary "One Piece" left behind by the infamous "Pirate King" Gol D. Roger. In 2021, the "One Piece" anime series reached its 1,000th episode milestone, and the original manga has now exceeded 100 volumes. The franchise celebrated its 25th anniversary in July 2022, and a live-action drama adaptation titled "ONE PIECE" by Netflix is set to premiere in 2023. On April 24, a live stream was held to mark the beginning of the collaboration between "One Piece" and "Kocha Kaden." Along with a special message from Luffy and Sanji, the event featured a limited giveaway exclusively for live viewers. And from April 24, customers can receive an original "One Piece" collaboration coaster by purchasing 4 items of "Kocha Kaden" (including region-exclusive products) or "Yakan no Mugicha from Sokenbicha" (excluding 950ml bottles) in total at supermarkets, drugstores, and other retailers. The campaign features 10 new illustrations of "One Piece" characters exclusively drawn by illustrator Chocomoo. In addition, by purchasing "Kocha Kaden" (including region-exclusive products) between April 24 and July 2, over 10,000 customers will win a "Tea Time Set (10 types)", "Anker Portable Speaker (with pouch)", and other items featuring "One Piece" characters. The "#Let's go with Oshi Hairstyles!" project, a collaboration between the anime "[Oshi no Ko]" and "Hot Pepper Beauty", one of the largest search and reservation services for hair salons, relaxing and beauty salons in Japan, started on April 26, 2023. A movie announcing this has also been distributed. The TV anime "[Oshi no Ko]" is based on a manga series in "Weekly Young Jump" by Akasaka Aka of "Kaguya-sama Love is War" and Yokoyari Mengo of "Scum’s Wish", which depicts the "entertainment world" from a completely new angle. The story begins when Goro, an obstetrician and gynecologist working in a provincial city, is visited by Ai, his "favorite" idol from "B-Komachi," with a forbidden secret. Directed by Hiramaki Daisuke, animation production is handled by Animation Studio. The cast includes Takahashi Rie as Ai, Otsuka Takeo as Aqua, Igoma Yurie as Ruby, Ito Kento as Goro, Takayanagi Tomoha as Sarina, Uchiyama Yumi as Aqua in her childhood, and Han Megumi as Arima Kana. The newly launched "#Let's go with Oshi Hairstyles!" is a contest in which viewers vote to select new hairstyles for Aqua, Ruby, and Kana Arima, who are auditioning to become models for the "Hot Pepper Beauty" commercial. The candidate hairstyles will be limited styles that are not depicted in the original story or anime. In the movie announcing the collaboration, the three are talking at school when Ruby suddenly asks, "Have you heard of 'Hot Pepper Beauty'?" When Aqua and Arimaa Kana also use Hot Pepper Beauty, Ruby sees their reaction and says, "There is an audition for a commercial model, so let's join!" She invites them to attend. Kana Arima suggested, "Then why don't you change your hairstyle and give it a makeover?" In the end, the three decided to participate in the audition and asked the audience to vote on the hairstyle they would like us to have. That is the story. The Web commercial featuring Aqua, Ruby, and Kana Arima in the hairstyles chosen by the viewers as their "hair style of choice" is scheduled to be distributed in June. In addition, everyone who participates in the voting and tweets from the voting completion page will receive an original illustration of the three transformed into the hairstyles they voted for as a gift at a later date. The voice actress Uchida Maaya, known for her role as Kanzaki Ranko of "The Idolmaster Cinderella Girls" and Katarina Claes of "My Next Life as a Villainess: All Routes Lead to Doom!" was featured in Oyatsu Company's CM "Baby-Star #Nostalgic Chicken Flavor". She sang the CM song "Baby-Star Lullaby" in a "Showa Idol" style in the CM. "Baby-Star #Nostalgic Chicken Flavor" featuring Uchida is a Showa retro CM that combined the 1950s-1960s (birth year of Baby-Star) style animation with the well-paced of 1980s (Appearance year of the 2nd generation, Bei-chan). This CM started broadcasting in August 2021 with the thoughts of "Making the tastiness of Baby-Star a memory" to those that "Haven't eaten Baby-Star for a while". To celebrate the 5th anniversary of the third generation, Hoshio-kun, the three videos, "Baby-Star Lullaby Dodekai Arc", "Ramen Maru Arc", and "Ramen Otsumami Arc" were created. Uchida appeared as a "Showa Idol" and sung the CM song of "Baby-Star #Nostalgic Chicken Flavor", titled "Baby-Star Lullaby" in an original arrangement. Do listen it with your own ear how Uchida, who is active as an artist and is able to voice various characters from cute girls to handsome boy, sung the 1980s style melody "Baby-Star Lullaby". "Baby-Star #Nostalgic Chicken Flavor" featuring Uchida was revealed on February 4, 2022.
