“BLUELOCK: Showtime!!”, a merchandise event featuring the TV anime “Blue Lock,” will be held from February 3 to February 26, 2023, at BUSHIROAD CREATIVE Stores nationwide. “Blue Lock” is a TV anime based on a soccer manga written by Kaneshiro Muneyuki and Nomura Yusuke and serialized in Kodansha's "Weekly Shonen Magazine." It has sold over 17 million copies and won the "45th Kodansha Manga Award for Best Shonen Manga." The story follows the main character Isagi Yoichi, a high school forward who dreams of becoming the ace striker of the Japanese national team and winning the World Cup, and his participation in the "BLUE LOCK " project launched by the Japan Football Union to train strikers who can lead the country to the World Cup. Starting in October 2022, the anime series is currently running on TV Asahi's "NUMAnimation" and more for two consecutive seasons. A collaborative event between the TV anime "Blue Lock" and Tobu Zoo will be held from April 15, 2023. Original merchandise, collaborative food, and games will be sold. “Blue Lock" is based on a soccer manga that won the 45th Kodansha Manga Award for Juvenile Division. The story is written by Kaneshiro Muneyuki and drawn by Nomura Yusuke, and serialized in Weekly Shonen Magazine. The "Blue Lock (Blue Prison)" project was launched by the Japan Football Union to train strikers who can lead Japan to the World Cup championship. The 300 high school students who were gathered there were all assigned to play forward. The story follows them challenging the selection to be the best striker in the world. The TV anime will be broadcast in two consecutive cours that started in October 2022. The details of the collaborative event "Blue Rock x Tobu Zoo" have been announced. The special program is limited to the period from April 15 to June 25 and includes a lot of different content. This time, a "collaboration ticket with benefits" that includes a limited ticket holder for the event will be on sale. The event special postcards (6 varieties) and "stamp rally card" to participate in the stamp rally will be distributed.
