The main visual and character visuals from the stage performance “Blue Lock” have been released. The theme song will be sung by singer/songwriter Kradness. Special offers when buying tickets and after-talks were also announced.

“Blue Lock” is a soccer manga by Kaneshiro Muneyuki (original story) and Nomura Yusuke (manga) that has been serialized in “Weekly Shonen Magazine” since 2018. Set in the “Blue Lock (Blue Jail)” project to nurture strikers who will lead Japan to the World Cup championship. The story depicts a group of 300 high school students, all of whom are professional soccer players, who are kicking each other off the field in an attempt to become “strikers full of egoism”.

The original work has sold more than 21.5 million copies as of February 2023, and has attracted many fans, winning the 45th Kodansha Manga Award in the Juvenile Division. A TV anime has been airing since October 2022, and the first stage adaptation of the title will be staged in May 2023.

The main visual released this time features the main character Isagi Yoichi, played by Takenaka Ryohei, and other high school strikers challenging the “Blue Lock (Blue Jail)” project.

All character visuals have also been unveiled, showing Isagi Yoichi, Bachira Meguru, Kunigami Rensuke, Chigiri Hyoma, Kuon Wataru, Raiichi Jingo, Gagamaru Gin, Iemon Okuhito, Igarashi Gurimu, Barou Shouei, Niko Ikki, Wanima Junichi, Wanima Keisuke, Nagi Seishiro, Mikage Reo, Zurugi Zantetsu, Ego Jinpachi and others as they appear on stage.

On top of that, Kradness, a popular singer/songwriter who has attracted worldwide attention, will sing the theme song for the stage performance. It was also learned that a “diorama acrylic stand set” will be given away as a special present with ticket purchases, and that an after-performance talk will also be held after the show.

The stage performance “Blue Lock” will be performed at Sankei Hall Breeze in Osaka from May 4 to May 7, 2023, and at Sunshine Theater in Tokyo from May 11 to May 14, 2023. The hottest and craziest soccer stage in history is sure to be a hit.
