To commemorate the anime adaptation of "Futo Detectives," "Kamen Rider W Cyclone Joker" will appear in the S.H.Figuarts authentic carving method series with a new cloth scarf and commemorative stand parts included; sales began on August 11, 2022 at toy stores, electronics retail stores, and mail order sites nationwide. The original story of "Futo Detectives" is a manga of the same title serialized in Weekly Big Comic Spirits since 2017. It depicts the "afterstory" of "Kamen Rider W," which aired in 2009 and became a hot topic due to its unprecedented W starring Kiriyama Renn as Hidari Shoutarou and Suda Masaki as Phillip, stylish action, and a story that deepened as the story progressed, making it a favorite among tokusatsu fans. This is the first "Kamen Rider" series ever to be adapted into an anime, which is currently airing on TOKYO MX and other stations from August 2022. From "Futo Detectives," "Kamen Rider W Cyclone Joker" has now appeared in the S.H.Figuarts "authentic carving method" series with a new cloth scarf and a commemorative stand. The new cloth scarf was produced under the supervision of the anime staff, and is sized to resemble the anime production. The scarf has a wire inside, allowing you to freely express the fluttering of it. It can be fluttered to create powerful poses inspired by the new animated "Kamen Rider W" while maintaining the "authentic carving method" of articulation and sculpting. The gimmicks of Gaia Memory, Double Driver, and Maximum Slot are also retained, and the hard scarf that came with the 2016 S.H.Figuarts Kamen Rider W Cyclone Joker is also included, allowing you to enjoy the action of the figure in its normal state. The YouTube channel “Toei SFX YouTube Official” unveiled a preview version of “Fuuto PI” episode 1 on August 9 at 8 pm. At the same time, “‘Fuuto PI’ Behind-the-Scenes Video” in which the director Kabashima Yosuke talks about the stories related to the scenario, art settings, and character designs, has been released. “Fuuto PI” is an anime based on the manga that is a legitimate sequel to "Kamen Rider W (Double)", which is serialized in "Weekly Big Comic Spirits." The story depicts the Kamen Rider W confronting new mysterious incidents in the windy city of "Fuuto." In this story, Tokime, a mysterious beautiful woman, joins the "buddy detectives" Hidari Shotaro and Philip. ‘Fuuto PI’ began an exclusive distribution on U-NEXT on August 1, followed by the TV broadcast starting on August 8. In addition, a preview version of Episode 1 will be available on "Toei SFX YouTube Official" from August 9 at 8 P.M. The story features unique characters including Shotaro and Philip, who take on the challenging case involving Tokime, a femme fatale who suddenly appeared in the city of Futo. The imageboard of the anime "Fuuto PI" that is based on the manga that depicts the after story of "Kamen Rider W" has been released. It was also revealed that this work will involve the anime studio, Studio KAI, known for "Uma Musume: Pretty Derby (TV) Season 2" and "Super Cub". "Fuuto PI" is based on the manga that depicts the official sequel of the 11th work of the Heisei Kamen Rider series "Kamen Rider W" (2009). "Kamen Rider W" is famous for its hard-boiled detective buddy drama featuring the double main cast, Kiriyama Renn as Hidari Shotaro and Suda Masaki as Philip. It depicts the activities of "Buddy Detective" Hidari Shoutaro and Philip as Kamen Rider W as they faced the mysterious incidents in Futo with the familiar characters, such as the mysterious beauty Tokime. The imageboard depicts the setting of this work, Futo with the main protagonist Hidari Shoutaro looking toward it while standing. This scene is the same as the cover art of the first episode of the manga "Fuuto PI". It was also color up with the theme color of "Kamen Rider W", which is purple and green. Also, it was announced that the production of this work is handled by the up-and-coming anime studio, Studio KAI, who received positive feedback toward the art and is known for "Uma Musume: Pretty Derby (TV) Season 2" and "Super Cub".
