“ONE PIECE FILM RED,” the latest film of the anime “ONE PIECE,” has been released in theaters on August 6, 2022. In conjunction with this, two episodes linked with the movie will be aired in the TV anime series for two consecutive weeks, on August 14 (episode 1029) and August 21 (episode 1030).
The story of “ONE PIECE FILM RED” begins with the shocking revelation that Uta, the world-famous diva, is Luffy’s childhood friend and Shanks’ daughter.
While the movie depicts Luffy, Uta, and Shanks’ old days in Foosha Village, the linked prequel episodes portray the first meeting of Luffy with Shanks and Uta.
The linked episodes feature not only Luffy, but also Zoro and Nami in their childhood, as well as many other familiar faces. They are a must-see for fans where they get to see Luffy and Uta talking about their dreams as a child. In addition, the episodes will also include the scene where the Straw Hat Pirates head to Elegia, the “Island of Music“, the setting of the latest film.
