In commemoration of the upcoming completion of the manga “Tokyo Revengers,” the first three volumes of the series are now available for free on “Magazine Pocket,” Shonen Magazine’s official manga app.
“Tokyo Revengers” is a “revenge suspense” manga by Wakui Ken that has been serialized in “Weekly Shonen Magazine” since 2017. With 29 volumes published so far, the series boasts a total circulation of more than 65 million copies.
Hanagaki Takemichi, an unemployed man at the bottom of his life, one day teleports twelve years ago to his junior high school days when his life was at its peak. In order to save the only girl friend he has had, Tachibana Hinata, who he knows will be killed by the “Tokyo Manjikai,” a group of the worst delinquents, Takemichi is determined to change himself and make his way to be the top of the group.
The TV anime started in April 2021 under the title “Tokyo Revengers,” followed by a live-action movie in July. A stage adaptation was also produced in August of the same year and from March to April 2022.
The first season of the TV anime covered from the “8.3 Conflict” to “Bloody Halloween.” The second season, which depicts the “Battle of the Holy Night” will be broadcast from January 2023.
The manga “Tokyo Manji Revengers” is to be completed in the 51st issue of “Weekly Shonen Magazine” on sale on November 16, 2022. Along with this, the first three volumes will be available for free on “Magazine Pocket” until 11:59 p.m. on November 8, 2022.
