“Golden Kamuy” and Sanrio Characters will collaborate. Visuals of the collaboration, including “Sugimoto x Cinnamoroll” and “Asirpa x My Melody,” have been unveiled.

“Golden Kamuy” is based on the manga of the same title by Noda Satoru, which is serialized in Weekly Young Jump. The series has sold more than 18 million copies.
Set in Hokkaido in the late Meiji Era, the manga depicts the adventures of a group of convicts on death row in Abashiri Prison who have hidden a vast treasure trove of gold. An animated TV series has been airing since 2018, and a fourth season is currently in production.

A collaboration between “Golden Kamuy” and Sanrio Characters has been set, and collaboration visuals featuring 20 characters have been unveiled.

In “Sugimoto x Cinnamoroll,” Cinnamon’s flapping big ears look like Sugimoto’s scarf. Sugimoto, who loves cute things, will melt by Cinnamon’s cuteness.

In “Asirpa x My Melody,” both Asirpa and My Melody love their grandmother (Fuchi). Having grown up in nature, the forest is their playground.

In “Shiraishi x Osaru no Monkichi,” Shiraishi and Monkichi look too much alike in the silhouette of their heads. They are both easygoing, optimistic, and good-natured, just like each other.

In “Tsurumi x Badtz-Maru,” Badtz-Maru’s dream is to become a president, and he seems to be giving his friends a good scolding with his matching frontal protector.

In “Hijikata x Kuromi,” Kuromi, who loves cool guys, also loves Hijikata. He switches his tricycle for a horse and goes for a “buzzing ride” with Hijikata.

“Ogata x Hello Kitty” features Ogata, a lone wildcat sniper who is making Chitatapu next to a bright and gentle girl, Kitty.

In “Tanigaki x Pompompurin,” Tanigaki poses in the middle of Purin, a cheerful golden retriever, and Ryu, an Ainu dog. When it is cold, you can sleep with Purin and Ryu as your hot-water bottle.

In “Kiroranke x KIRIMI-chan.”, Kiroranke was fishing and the fish that got into his net was not a salmon, but KIRIMI-chan. KIRIMI-chan and KAMABOKO-chan want Kiroranke to “eat well” as well.

In “Tsukishima x Hangyodon,” Tsukishima, who takes long baths, and Hangyodon, a half-fish who loves hot springs, are taking a friendly bath together. Don’t say “it’s a bother” when the lonely Hangyodon misses you.

In “Koito x Tuxedo Sam,” Koito and Tuxedo Sam, who both come from venerable families, are challenging circus tricks. On top of Tuxedo Sam’s umbrella is Koito’s “Tsurumi x Badtz-Maru” bromide collection.

In addition, a merchandise project using the collaboration visual is currently underway. New information will be announced at the “Golden Kamuy” stage at AnimeJapan 2022 on March 27, so be sure to check back here.
