The collaboration between the game “Uma Musume Pretty Derby” and Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) Japan, titled “Uma Musume to Kyou, Kentucky ni shinai?” (lit: How about some Kentucky Fried Chicken with Uma Musume?) is running from August 24, 2024. To commemorate this, KFC’s Ikebukuro West Exit store has been given a special Uma Musume-themed wrap. We’ve received some photos from the store.

The KFC Ikebukuro West Exit store features newly drawn exclusive designs of eight Uma Musume, including Satono Diamond and Kitasan Black, throughout the store.

Upon entering, the eight Uma Musume welcome customers at the register counter on the first floor. On the wall under the stairs, you can find “Colonel Goldship,” the self-proclaimed Uma Musume PR agent, Gold Ship, dressed as KFC’s founder Colonel Sanders.

On the second floor, the walls and columns are filled with exclusive designs of Uma Musume holding their KFC products like the Barrel Twister Burger. You can enjoy photos with your favorite Uma Musume along with your meal.

The third floor displays unique KFC-themed designs of Uma Musume in the style of KFC’s Colonel Sanders logo.
A diorama featuring the eight Uma Musume with a KFC shop backdrop is also set up on the stairs, so be sure to check it out.

The collaboration between “Uma Musume Pretty Derby” and Japan KFC, “Uma Musume to Kyou, Kentucky ni shinai?” runs until September 13. The Ikebukuro West Exit store’s Uma Musume decorations will also be up until the same day. Enjoy a meal surrounded by the world of Uma Musume while you can.
