“Tokyo Manji Gang Kick-off Gathering in Laguna Ten Bosch”, a theme park collaboration event for the anime “Tokyo Revengers”, has been confirmed. The event will be held at Lagunasia in Aichi from March 19 to June 19, 2022.
“Tokyo Manji Revengers” is the latest manga by Wakui Ken, the original writer of “Shinjuku Swan”, which was serialized in “Weekly Shonen Magazine” from 2017 and has sold over 40 million copies.
Hanagaki Takemichi, a deadbeat freelancer at the bottom of his life, travels back in time to his middle school days 12 years ago, when he was at the peak of his life. In order to save his ex-girlfriend, who was killed by the “Tokyo Manji Gang”, the worst gang of villains in the world, and to change the person he has been running away from, he starts his revenge.
The TV anime started airing in April 2021, and a live-action film was released in July 2021. The anime version has been aired up to the ‘Bloody Halloween Arc’, and a sequel, ‘Christmas Conflict Arc’, has been decided to be produced.
This time, more information about the collaboration event has been released. The information of attraction, goods and food has been revealed.
In the attraction, ‘Bring on Maze: Takemichi’s Oath’ will appear. The maze attraction will tell the story of Takemichi’s first time traveling through to the 8.3 war, using 3D objects, video and audio along the way. The dead ends show information about the present days, and if you end up in an unfortunate future, you can find the right path to take to get the future you wanted by traveling back to the original route.
The lineup of goods includes life-size acrylic stands, tapestries, wobbly stands, acrylic keychains and other original goods exclusive to the event.
Life-size illustrations and limited edition mini caray illustrations were drawn up by Liden Films for this event. In tribute to the theme park of the sea, ‘Lagunasia’, the ToMan members are dressed in pirate costumes. There are six life-size illustrations of Takemichi, Mikey, Draken, Mitsuya, Baji and Chifuyu, and seven mini characters including a secret character. Some of the goods will also be sold by mail order.
As for food, original menus related to the work and characters will be sold. Mikey’s children’s meal, Draken’s super spicy curry, Baji and Chifuyu’s 50/50 yakisoba will be available. Also, if you order the collaboration food, you can get a coaster as a novelty. Additional menus will be released during this period, so keep an eye out for more information.
In addition to this, there will be full of collaboration events: a sticker collecting where you can search for panels of ToMan members (mini characters) during a treasure hunt at Lagunasia, a photo spot where you can enjoy taking commemorative photos with ToMan members, and an original voice greeting by Takemichi and Mikey at the entrance.
“Tokyo Manji Gang Kick-off Gathering in Laguna Ten Bosch” will be held at Lagunasia from March 19 to June 19, 2022. Special event tickets (advance tickets) with limited novelties are on sale at Lawson and Ministop stores nationwide and on the Laguna Ten Bosch official website until June 19.
