The anime “Tokyo Revengers,” which is set to produce a “Christmas Showdown Arc,” has announced that Suzuki Tatsuhisa’s role as Ryuguji Ken will be replaced.

The original “Tokyo卍Revengers” is the latest epic story by Wakui Ken, author of “Shinjuku Swan”, which was serialized in “Weekly Shonen Magazine” in 2017 and has sold over 40 million copies.

The protagonist is Hanagaki Takemichi, a useless part-time worker who has hit rock bottom in his life. He learns that Tachibana Hinata, his only girlfriend from junior high school, has been killed by the Tokyo Manji Gang, the worst gang of villains in the world. The next day, Takemichi is on the platform at the station when someone pushes him back and he falls onto the tracks ready to die, but when he opens his eyes, he somehow finds himself in a time leap to 12 years ago.
When he opens his eyes, he finds that he has somehow made a time leap back 12 years to his junior high school days, the peak of his life.

The production company has now announced a cast change.
