The anime subscription service “d Anime Store” announced the results of their survey, “What’s the most XX anime of this season?” for the Summer 2020 anime.
Based on over 8,700 votes, “Uzaki-chan Want’s to Hang Out!”, “Rent-A-Girlfriend”, and “Sword Art Online: Alicization – War of Underworld” topped the list of each division.

1st place for “Funniest Anime of This Season” was “Uzaki-chan Want’s to Hang Out!”.
It received comments such as, “The interactions with Uzaki-chan made me laugh every time. I really enjoy how the cute and annoying Uzaki-chan reacts to her senpai’s actions and words. Her expressions are so cute!”

1st place for “Most Moe Anime of This Season” was “Rent-A-Girlfriend”.
Fans show high hopes towards the end of the series in comments such as, “This season’s Rent-A-Girlfriend is a new style of rom-com and is very interesting. I’m so curious to see what happens to the relationships of Kazuya and the girls in his harem.”

1st place for “Most Exciting Anime of This Season” and “Most Moving Anime of This Season” was “Sword Art Online: Alicization – War of Underworld”.
The long-loved series achieved a double crown with comments such as, “It was very moving to see how Kirito blames himself while the other people try to forgive him for his actions! There are much more touching scenes, and it will definitely make you cry!” and “This work shows how an anime can be a profound creation.”
