Mar. 25 is Kobayashi Yuusuke-san's birthday.

Kobayashi Yuusuke-san debuted as a voice actor in the late '00s. He won the Best Rookie Actor at the 11th Seiyu Awards. In the latest Winter 2020 Animes, he played the main characters in animes such as “Interspecies Reviewers” and “Sorcerous Stabber Orphen”.

Here at Anime!Anime!, we had an interview with him when he was stared in “The Heroic Legend of Arslan”.

To celebrate his birthday, we conducted a survey asking, “Who is your favorite character voiced by Kobayashi Yuusuke-san?” There were 161 votes during the voting period from Mar. 13 to Mar. 20.
Most of the voters were female with the gender ratio being 30% male to 70% female, and the age distribution leaned on the younger side with 50% under 19 and 25% in their 20s.

■Subaru from “Re: Zero” took 1st place. The protagonists ranked high.
1st place was taken by Natsuki Subaru from “Re: Zero − Starting Life in Another World” with approximately 25% of the votes.

Subaru, the protagonist who was summoned to another world, received, “Because he brilliantly portrayed the imperfect character that tries his best with the support of everyone,” and “He's a character that spins his wheels. The scene where he cries really grabbed me by the heart. It's awesome how he keeps his tone of voice low, while portraying an annoying character full of energy,” along with many other comments saying how moved they were by him trying so hard in extreme hardship.

“Subaru standing against tough situations gave me so much energy,” shows how he encouraged many fans. The 2nd season is scheduled to be broadcast from Jul. 2020. Let's look forward to the upcoming series.

Coming in 2nd was Ishigami Senkuu from “Dr. STONE” with approximately 23% of the votes.

Ishigami Senkuu works hard to regain the lost civilization. He received comments such as, “It was amazing how his voice matched the sharp-tongued but actually kind Senkuu. Thank you Kobayashi-san,” and “He's not physically strong but has so much knowledge. He really fascinates me.”
Senkuu has much knowledge in all fields, and him using so many advanced scientific terms left a strong impact.

3rd place went to Arthur Boyle from “Fire Force” with approximately 10% of the votes.

Arthur, who is a member of the Special Fire Force Company 8, gains his popularity from keeping his own chivalry with comments like, “I love how he's strong yet dumb, but takes everything overly seriously,” and “I think he really nailed the already funny character with really funny acting.”

The 3 characters at the top are all from animes that are having their 2nd seasons coming up.

■Here are some comments for other characters!
For Arslan from “The Heroic Legend of Arslan”, “Kobayashi-san's clear and firm voice really matched Arslan standing against various difficulties. I was moved by every episode.”
For Uchimaki Subaru from “This Art Club Has a Problem!”, “He well portrayed the innocence of a middle school student. I also like how he's a bit dull.”
